Your story, your way

Your story, your way

What does Personal Attention really mean? So many times it means filling out a form and then letting some version of a robot match you with a portfolio of investments, a credit line, or some other ready-made market product. Not so at LASO. Let me tell you a couple of stories that really happened in the last few weeks. I will change the names to protect people’s identities, but these are real people that LASO helped achieve their real estate dream.

EMILY IS A SOCIOLOGIST. She wants to buy an apartment in our Camargo Project, near Parque Centenario. She has some money for a down payment, and the rest of the money has to come from the sale of the apartment she currently lives in. She cannot afford to pay installments while the building is in construction.

LASO’s solution: She will put in the down payment, and when the time for the project to be finished comes near, she will sell her apartment. With those funds, she will pay for the unit she really wants. The sale price of her apartment is uncertain. There could be a deficit in the funding. In that case, we will work with her to come up with a plan to finance the rest at that point in the future, to fit her needs and resources. In this kind of situation, the financing will be either a mortgage or, most likely, just a note based on our mutual understanding and trust.

LUCA IS A CHEF. He was a candidate to take over one of our commercial projects, The Chacabuco Market, in San Telmo, which consists of a cultural center with a food court. We were looking to hire him to run the gastronomy aspect of the project.

WHAT HAPPENED? Luca visited The Chacabuco Market and loved it but realized that it wasn’t his call at this point in his life. He loves residential buildings. He decided instead to double his investment in the LASO residential projects he is already involved in. He will instead generate income from those investments.

NORA LIVES IN A PENTHOUSE OVERLOOKING THE RIVER WITH HER CAT. She owns an apartment downtown that she rents through Airbnb. This apartment is a bit dated and dark as newer and taller buildings have left it in shadows. She wants to sell this apartment and buy a new one.

LASO helped her sell this older apartment, and with the proceeds, she fully paid for a unit in the upcoming Camargo Project and has some money left over to add to her savings. Selling the older unit took a bit of magic—the person that bought it had lived in that very same building and wanted to go back to his childhood grounds.

This is what we mean by “personalized” at LASO. Not two people are the same, so why should we all get the same terms? We will listen to you, give you all our attention, and then come up with the scenario that best fits what you want and we provide.

We help you live your story, your way
