Alejandra was born in Argentina and currently resides in Santa Barbara, CA. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Until December 2022, she was a principal and portfolio manager at Miltonian Capital, which she co-founded in 2011. At Miltonian, Alejandra managed a portfolio of high yield and distressed debt including corporate, municipal, and asset-backed securities.

Alejandra believes in the power of building and strengthening communities driven by common interests, and has built multiple organizations for this purpose. She started the local Chartered Financial Analyst chapter in Santa Barbara in 2009. In 2021, she founded Nomad Tango, a non-profit organization that promotes and organizes events that brings the dance, music and art of the Argentine Tango to California.

In addition to regular community events such as “practicas” and “milongas”, she has brought top international artists and teachers to Southern California, including El Cachivache, Tanghetto, Fernanda Ghi, Pablo Aslan, Winnie Cheung, Hugo Satorre, Camila and Luis Lima, Tanghetto. Alejandra is also actively engaged in several other non-profits in Santa Barbara, including Santa Barbara Wu Hao TaiJi, Santa Barbara Association for the Advancement of Tango, the local CFA association, and several Animal Welfare groups.

Silvia was born in Argentina and currently resides in Buenos Aires. She holds a degree in accounting from the University of Buenos Aires (CPN), is certified by CPCE, a Masters Degree in Business and Technology from the Escuela de Organizacion Industrial (EOI) and is a CUCICBA certified Real Estate Auctioneer.

Silvia is an accomplished entrepreneur who has built multiple businesses. She founded Kalb, a real estate development company, which has provided owners and investors with quality, reliable and comfortable housing alternatives in over 10 large scale projects. Her approach is people-centric, prioritizing flexibility and customization in order to meet the needs of each proprietor.

In addition to Kalb, Silvia runs her own accounting firm, and a firm specializing in IT and technology. In all of her ventures, she has excelled in building and maintaining long-term business relationships.

Silvia is a passionate business consultant who believes in the importance of creating wealth for every party involved. She has co-founded LASO to welcome a new community into what makes Argentina a magical place, both in its business and its culture.
